Kochovyk was born during an ascent of Mount Strymba in the Ukrainian Carpathians.

It wasn’t a spontaneous decision — it was the result of long reflections and observations during our individual rotations on the front lines, where we lived in unpredictable conditions, always ready for anything.
In such moments, we need to carefully choose WHO and WHAT to take with us - each component has its purpose in the efficiency of the work we do.

A wool poncho became that part of home we could carry anywhere — at home, during travels, while hiking, at war… or simply throw on to run an errand at the store for bread. At the same time, as we studied symbolism, ancient cultures, and cosmology, we wanted to channel that energy and knowledge into something tangible. That’s how the idea of embroidering sacred symbols on the poncho was born.

We, Ukrainians, believe that with every stitch you sew, you weave your own intention and the energy of the moment into the fabric. That’s why our standards for the people who join our team are so high — first comes quality, then communication: how does it feel energetically?
